Nevada’s 1122 Procurement Program General Services Administration (GSA) Purchasing Program

The 1122 Purchasing Program allows State and Local governmental agencies to purchase new equipment related to counter-drug activities, using federal supply schedule contracts made by the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of the Army. Nevada’s State and Local agencies have saved 10 to 70 percent below retail costs on equipment suitable for use in these activities. Many agencies have realized savings of 20 to 35 percent off the retail price on their fleet vehicles using the GSA Auto Choice Program also offered through the 1122 Program. Other items purchased are: computers, office safety equipment, ballistic vests, audio-visual equipment, surveillance equipment, gas masks, chemical suits, batteries, cameras and mobile command centers just to name a few. We also provided contacts to vendors who provide services such as up fitting of vehicles and installation of technology in dispatch and fusion centers.
